Directed by Aaron Schimberg, A24’s A DIFFERENT MAN is a gripping dark comedy featuring a Berlinale Silver Bear Award-winning performance from Sebastian Stan alongside Adam Pearson and Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World), who both starred in Schimberg's critically acclaimed, ‘Chained for Life’.

Aspiring actor Edward (Stan) undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.

Following multiple successful festival outings this year, including a run of sold-out sessions at the 2024 Sydney Film Festival, A DIFFERENT MAN has won the hearts of audiences and critics alike. With a cleverly layered screenplay from Schimberg and sublime, fearless performances from the lead trio, the hype is certainly deserved.
