LOCALS is the Castlemaine Documentary Festival’s very own exclusive showcase for locally made short documentaries. This program highlights the talent of local storytellers who are creating impactful films set locally and beyond the town’s borders.
Due to popular demand, we’re thrilled to announce a second screening of LOCALS — showcasing all 18 short films submitted to this year’s event.
Join us at the Theatre Royal on Saturday 26 July at 2:00pm for this extended session, complete with an interval to stretch your legs and debrief over popcorn. It’s a rare chance to see the full creative force of our region on screen — from poetic reflections to unexpected laughs and everything in between.
