The people have spoken – Terminator 2 (1991) is the winner of the Locals’ Night poll!

Academy Award winning director James Cameron’s action sci-fi blockbuster, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, is a highly visual, stylish and stunning masterpiece.

Ten years after Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) narrowly prevented a deadly future, a new Terminator is sent back in time with one mission: kill her son, John Connor (Edward Furlong), before he can grow up to lead humanity’s resistance. But this time, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 has been reprogrammed to protect him, setting the stage for an explosive battle against Robert Patrick’s seemingly unstoppable, shape-shifting T-1000.

A global box office phenomenon and winner of four Academy Awards, including Best Visual Effects, Terminator 2: Judgement Day revolutionised blockbuster filmmaking with its groundbreaking effects, spectacular action and surprising emotional heart.

Come down on 19 October to celebrate TWO birthdays: Terminator 2’s 35th, and Locals’ Night’s 1st!

Hasta la vista, baby.
