Event Series: Forest Country: The Fight for our Forests

Forest Country: The Fight for our Forests

Director:

Lewi Haskins

Commercial native forest logging in Victoria has ended – but the fight for our forests is far from over.

Join Georgie Purcell MP for a special screening of Forest Country, a powerful documentary about Victoria’s forests, the wildlife that depends on them, and the communities who fought to protect them. Then stay for a conversation about what comes next – and what it will take to make sure these forests are protected for good.

After the film, Georgie will facilitate a panel discussion with Wombat Forestcare and the Victorian National Parks Association.

Session times:

Wed 21 Oct - 7:00pm

ALSO SHOWING

Dine in or takeaway pizza Tuesday – Sunday

Semi-sourdough pizza made with organic ingredients and a very little amount of yeast. The magic is in the fermentation process, which takes up to 72 hours. Each pizza is then balled up and hand-stretched to order. We cook our pizza in a 500c oven with a stone floor. The effect is a thin, crisp base with a puffy, leopard-spotted crust. No bookings required.
