Winner of Best Director at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, this highly anticipated, deeply passionate queer epic is in line for Academy Award nominations as one of the best films of the year.

Moving between 1932, 1937 and 2017, La Bola Negra traces the intertwined lives of three men in three different eras, following their stories intimately linked by sexuality and desire, pain, and legacy. Featuring an acclaimed international cast including Academy Award winner Penélope Cruz and screen legend Glenn Close, with music by lead actor Guitarricadelafuente.
