Theatre Royal and Floursmith join forces to bring you a night of delectable cakes, pastries and nostalgic romance! Local artisans Floursmith will be offering a mouth-watering selection of baked goods to be enjoyed prior to our 20yr anniversary screening of the most ardently loved 2005 adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic romantic novel, PRIDE & PREJUDICE.

From BAFTA Award-winning director Joe Wright (Atonement, Anna Karenina), and featuring one of cinema’s most cherished couples ever put to screen in Keira Knightley’s Elizabeth and Matthew Macfadyen’s brooding Mr. Darcy, don’t miss the ultimate portrayal of romantic yearning on the big screen – Mr. Darcy hand flex scene and all!

Floursmith is Jessie & Alan Stanley, life partners and culinary soulmates. Between 2019 and 2025 they established and ran Castlemaine’s Saint Florian Cafe, which was renowned for exceptional coffee and creative house made breakfasts, lunches & bakes. In December 2024 the duo created a High Tea Pastry Degustation at the cafe, featuring artisan bakes, and cementing their desire to create a business specialising in artisan pastry. They will set up a table of specially curated offerings to compliment the screening from 6pm in the foyer, with the screening commencing at 7:30pm.

Dine in or takeaway pizza Tuesday – Sunday

Semi-sourdough pizza made with organic ingredients and a very little amount of yeast. The magic is in the fermentation process, which takes up to 72 hours. Each pizza is then balled up and hand-stretched to order. We cook our pizza in a 500c oven with a stone floor. The effect is a thin, crisp base with a puffy, leopard-spotted crust. No bookings required.
